At NJ Construction safety is a core value. Our job is to complete every project incident and injury free. Our management team creates a culture in which all employees have the opportunity and responsibility to take ownership for their safety and the safety of their coworkers. We’ve always held the belief that our most valuable asset – what truly sets us apart – is our employees. At the end of the day, there’s nothing more important than our employees coming home safely.

 

NJ Construction are accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme (Federal Safety Commission Accreditation)

NJ Construction are accredited to AS/NZS4081 (Safety), ISO9001 (Quality) and ISO18001 (Environment).

 

NJ Construction are the only Powerline Contractor in Australia to hold the CSIRO managed Painting Contractor Certification Program (PCCP – Class 30) accreditation (High Voltage Transmission Tower Rrefurbishment). The scheme was established by the Federal Government to accredit painting contractors who could demonstrate compliance with certain defined minimum performance standards – quality systems, satisfied customers, skilled and experienced personnel

 

NJ Construction hold accreditations / endorsements with most major distribution and transmission utilities Australia wide.

NJ Construction Pty Ltd is a major contracting company in the electrical and communications industry, with a reputation for quality service and workmanship. It provides project management, construction and maintenance of electrical and communication infrastructure.

We aim to meet the needs and expectations of our clients and maintain a highlevel of workmanship and performance. The Company is committed to satisfying applicable requirements, including in regard to health, safety and environmental matters, regulatory standards and legitimate community expectations.

Our policy is to provide each employee with a safe and healthy work place and to work to continually improve our environmental performance. These aspects of the Company Policy are further defined in our Work Health and Safety Policy and our Environmental Policy.

To achieve this, the Company is committed to implementing an integrated management system that addresses quality, health and safety and environmental matters in accordance the requirements of ISO 9001, AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 14001, to setting objectives and targets, to monitoring and evaluation to ensure intended results are achieved and to continual improvement of the management system. The Company’s management system is documented in its Operations Manual.
