N J Construction are fortunate enough to have been the first service provider to begin installation of the Award Winning TransACT Broadband and Telephony network to customer premises. N J Construction secured a multi-million dollar contract with TransACT in January 2000 to carry out installation of underground and aerial infrastructure together with extensive customer cabling and fitout of thousands of customer in the ACT.

TransACT’s network is based on state of the art technologies that are recognized both in Australia and overseas as cutting edge and pathing the way for future systems. The TransACT network utilizes the existing electrical distribution supply infrastructure to carry new fibre and copper cabling throughout every suburb within the ACT. From this infrastructure N J Construction are extending the network to the customer and meeting the customers requirements for IT solutions and other data and telephony services that we can provide.

TransACT formally commended N J Construction on the assistance provided with development of processes and procedures during the earlier stages of the network rollout. N J Construction were seen to be highly professional, effective and efficient in their dealings with TransACT. These are the qualities N J Construction endeavour to bring to all our projects.

N J Construction were instrumental in helping TransACT get back online after the fire storms ravished their network in 2003. We were highly commended by the TransACT management for our tireless effort in restoring communications to the Canberra public.
