Barton Highway Duplication (Canberra) – Federal Highway Joint Venture

N J Construction successfully tendered the installation of streetlights for the Barton Highway duplication. Located in Canberra, the highway was duplicated and upgraded to accommodate the growing number of commuters.

N J Construction’s involvement in the project included the installation of 200 single and dual outreach lighting poles with 250W SON luminaries. The project also included the removal and relocation of existing streetlights and cabling. The work environment was that of a live motorway where strict site work methods are adhered to ensure a safe work site. As the work site is densely populated with contractors, N J Construction were required to mobilize at set times and complete our portion of the works within tight timeframes.
